SentinelOne MSSP Partner

SentinelOne — Autonomous Endpoint Protection Through N-able MSSP

Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader for Endpoint Protection Platforms. SentinelOne provides the Protect pillar of OAS's Three Pillar framework with behavioural AI endpoint detection and response.

Overview

SentinelOne is the "Protect" pillar in OAS's Three Pillar Managed Security methodology. The Singularity XDR platform uses behavioural AI — not traditional signatures — to detect and neutralise threats autonomously, including zero-day exploits, fileless attacks, and ransomware.

SentinelOne has been recognised as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms for the fifth consecutive year and as a 2025 Gartner Peer Insights Customers' Choice for XDR.

Partnership model: OAS accesses SentinelOne through its N-able MSSP partnership. Some enterprise-tier features and direct vendor support channels may not be available under this indirect partnership model. Product capabilities described below reflect the core SentinelOne platform; availability through OAS may vary based on N-able MSSP tier.

What MSSP Partnership Means for Your Organisation

OAS delivers SentinelOne as a fully managed security service — not a licence you need to configure and monitor yourself.

  • Managed deployment and monitoring — OAS deploys, tunes, and monitors SentinelOne across your environment from the same N-able console used for device management and backup
  • Integrated security stack — SentinelOne integrates directly with N-able N-central as an add-on module, providing endpoint protection alongside RMM and Cove backup in a single management platform
  • Enterprise-grade without enterprise complexity — Autonomous AI response operates in seconds without requiring in-house SOC analysts, making enterprise-grade protection accessible to mid-market organisations
  • Multi-tenant isolation — OAS manages SentinelOne across all client environments with granular tenant isolation and role-based access control
  • Dual ransomware recovery — SentinelOne rollback provides immediate file restoration, while Cove backup delivers full system recovery if needed — two independent recovery paths

SentinelOne Capabilities Delivered by OAS

Singularity XDR Platform

Unified detection and response spanning endpoint, cloud, identity, and network. The behavioural AI engine detects threats based on behaviour patterns rather than known signatures — catching zero-day exploits and novel ransomware that signature-based tools miss entirely.

Devices defend themselves autonomously. The platform kills malicious processes, quarantines files, and contains threats without waiting for a human analyst.

Autonomous Response and Remediation

SentinelOne automatically contains threats, remediates affected systems, and rolls back ransomware damage without human intervention. Mean time to respond drops from hours to seconds.

Storyline Technology reconstructs the full attack narrative across processes, files, and network events — providing complete incident context without manual correlation.

Ransomware Rollback

Patented one-click rollback reverses ransomware encryption by restoring files to their pre-attack state using Volume Shadow Copy integration. This is unique to SentinelOne — attackers encrypt files, and the platform restores them automatically.

For SA organisations facing increasing ransomware incidents, this capability provides a critical recovery path that does not depend on paying a ransom.

Purple AI

AI-powered security analyst that enables natural-language threat hunting, investigation, and response. Analysts query security data conversationally, reducing investigation time significantly. Purple AI acts as a force multiplier for resource-constrained IT teams — particularly relevant for SA organisations without dedicated security operations centres.

Offline Protection

The on-device AI operates fully without cloud connectivity. This is critical for remote sites, branch offices, and environments where consistent internet access cannot be guaranteed.

Three Pillar Integration

SentinelOne operates as the "Protect" pillar within OAS's Three Pillar Managed Security methodology — a framework built on three functions: Protect, Detect, Recover.

PillarFunctionDefault Product
ProtectAutonomous endpoint defenceSentinelOne Singularity XDR
DetectContinuous monitoring and alertingN-able N-central RMM
RecoverBackup, disaster recovery, rollbackCove Data Protection

The Three Pillar approach is a methodology, not a fixed product bundle. SentinelOne is the current default for the Protect function, selected for its autonomous AI capabilities and seamless integration with the N-able platform that powers the Detect and Recover pillars.
