Security Intelligence — Splunk Enterprise Security
Splunk, now part of Cisco, is the leading platform for security information and event management (SIEM), security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR), and IT observability. Splunk provides the centralised security analytics layer that sits above OAS's endpoint and network security tools.

Cisco Integration
Following the 2024 acquisition, Splunk integrates with Cisco's network security telemetry, XDR platform, and Talos threat intelligence. For OAS clients with Cisco network infrastructure, this adds network-level visibility to the security analytics platform.

ShareFile is a secure file sharing, document collaboration, and workflow automation platform from Cloud Software Group (originally developed by Citrix). Trusted by over 400,000 companies worldwide, ShareFile is purpose-built for regulated industries where security, compliance, and audit trails are non-negotiable.

- Secure client portals — Branded portals where clients upload documents, sign agreements, and complete onboarding forms with unlimited client users
- Integrated e-signatures — Native RightSignature capability for legally binding electronic signatures, with documents auto-routed to ShareFile folders after signing
- POPIA-compliant storage — On-premises Storage Zones keep sensitive data within South African borders, directly addressing data sovereignty requirements
- Citrix workspace integration — ShareFile integrates natively with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, synchronising user data across virtual desktops for a unified workspace experience
- Virtual data rooms — Secure rooms for M&A due diligence, audits, and board-level document sharing with detailed access logs
ShareFile supports cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployments. AES 256-bit encryption at rest, TLS in transit, and compliance certifications (SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, HIPAA) meet enterprise security standards.
Hyperconverged Infrastructure — Nutanix

- VMware migration alternative — Following Broadcom's VMware licensing changes, Nutanix AHV provides a licence-free hypervisor that preserves existing Citrix investments without disruption
- Hybrid cloud extension — Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on Azure extends on-premises Citrix workloads to the cloud without re-architecting infrastructure or management tools

Partner Selection Philosophy
OAS does not partner with every vendor in a category. Each technology partner is selected based on four criteria:
- Integration depth — The product must integrate with the wider OAS managed services platform. Standalone tools that create operational silos are avoided
- MSP delivery model — The product must support multi-tenant management, enabling OAS to deliver consistent service across all client environments from unified consoles
- Proven enterprise performance — Products must have established track records in regulated industries and independent validation (Gartner, MITRE, industry certifications)
- South African relevance — Products must address local requirements including POPIA compliance, data sovereignty, and availability through SA-based support channels
This approach ensures that every component in a client's technology stack works together as a coherent, managed service — not a collection of disconnected point products.
